Whats you need to have:
- Network cable Cat5 or Cat6
- RJ-45 Crimping tool
- RJ-45 Connectors
- Wire cutter
- Cable tester

Straight-through Cable:
After you peel the outer skin off, separate the individual wires. You have to cute away the insulation between the inner wires. Once you have the wires separated, you have to make sure those wires are as straight as possible.
Figure B:
You have to grab the RJ-45 connector in the same way as in the figure B and use the following combination to make a straight-through cable in Figure C.
Crossover Cable:
User the following combination of wires to create a crossover cable. Create one end of the cable same as in figure C and other end with the help of figure D.

Testing the connection:
You can check the cable always to plug it in but the better way is to check the cable with cable tester. This is always a must if you are creating a number of cables or you are creating cables that will then be deployed to a remote location.
Really amazing to know that these network cables transmit info at a blazing pace of 600MHz for distance up to one hundred meters. Thanks for sharing
